LCT 6: Exposed Sandstone Uplands

The Exposed Sandstone Uplands LCT is located on the south western
edge of Herefordshire and its character extends west into the Bannau
Brycheiniog National Park in Wales. The eastern boundary is marked by the
transition to the enclosed pastoral valleys of the Sandstone Upland Hills and
Valleys (LCT 7). The southern boundary is marked by the course of the River
Monnow which turns abruptly eastwards along the Neath Disturbance fault line.
